When you quit Premiere Pro after creating a project, the Dvaaudioscan helper app does not quit. Upon shutdown, the system will shut down with the Dvaaudioscan icon visible in the Dock. It will also reappear in the Dock upon reboot.

When you launch After Effects for the first time, an OS dialog opens, asking to control the finder, 'Adobe After Effects CC 2018' would like to control the application 'Finder'.
